Personalizing Your Account

What is the Member Portal? How do I customize my account? What is Preference Center and How Do I Use It?

When you log into your account, you’ll arrive in the Member Portal, a dashboard where you can see updates on auctions, upcoming vehicles, Max Bids & the latest Member News.

From here, you can fine tune your account with the Preference Center & Account Settings menus.

Account Settings

The Account Settings menu lets you update information like your address, email address, or change your password. You can also upload any needed documents, upgrade your account from Basic to Premier, or register to start selling vehicles with Copart. You can even change the language of Copart.com. Go to the Account Menu (or My Account in the Member Mobile App) menu at the top right of your screen and select Account Settings.

Preference Center

The Preference Center lets you customize how Copart communicates with you. Open the Account Menu (or My Account in the Member Mobile App) by clicking on your name in the upper right corner of the screen and selecting Preferences Center. You can choose what alerts you want to receive and how you want to receive them. You can also customize what kinds of vehicles you want to buy, and the locations from which you want to buy them.

Copart can send you alerts by email, text message and Copart Mobile App Alerts. We can also send you recommendations on vehicles we think would be of interest to you. All of these functions and more are controlled by the Preferences Center.
