How To Get Your Vehicle(s)

How do I get my vehicles to me? Can I send my own transporter? Can I have my vehicles shipped? Can I pick up my vehicles myself?

The last step is arranging to get your vehicle from the Copart location where it currently resides to your home or office. Be sure to arrange transportation for your vehicles quickly to avoid storage fees. Copart will hold your vehicle at no charge for up to three days, including the day on which you bought it. Storage fees may vary by Copart location.

Copart Delivery

The easiest and often fastest way to get your vehicle(s) to you is by using Copart Delivery. You’ll see an estimate on the Payments Due screen. Select the vehicles you want shipped to you, then select Order Delivery. Then you can pay for shipping just like paying for your vehicles and fees. Your vehicles should arrive to you in a few business days within 100 miles, or up to three weeks if farther away.

Make sure your shipping information is up to date.

Third-Party Transporter

Go to the Payments Due page and pick the vehicle(s) you want to have picked up, then select Send to Transporter at the top of the page. The first time you use a transporter, you’ll need to enter their email address. They’ll receive an email with a link to download the Copart Transportation App. They’ll also receive and email with a Gate PIN and instructions on how to book a pickup appointment and check in when they get there.

Copart is not responsible for any damage caused by third-party transporters, nor does it have any control over any additional fees such transporters may charge.

Pick Up Vehicles Yourself

You can pick up your vehicles in person from one of our 220+ locations across North America. Go to the Payments Due page, select the vehicles you want to pick up, and then select Schedule Pickup. It’s important to be as close to on time as you can. If you arrive to late, you may lose your place in line and may be required to schedule another pick-up time.

You’ll be sent a confirmation link by text message two hours before your appointment. Use the included link to check into the Virtual Queue. You can also scan a QR code near the entrance of our locations. Copart’s courteous staff will move the vehicle to the loading area and load it onto your truck, trailer or transporter vehicle.

You can pick up your title at the same time you get your vehicle(s), but you’ll be charged a $20 service fee and may be subject to long wait times as our location staff members stay very busy. Please remember that you can't drive vehicles off Copart facilities for legal and liability reasons.

International Buyers

If you are an international buyer, our Certified Resellers or Copart Lounges can assist you with shipment of your vehicle to your location. You can calculate the shipment costs on the vehicle details page using the shipment calculator (under the lot images). You can also find a Certified Reseller or a Copart Lounge operator in your region on this page and inquire within.

We recommend going through a shipping company with experience in importing vehicles into your country. Most of the shipping companies that partner with Copart can help you navigate customs and acquire the government documents and other requirements to legally bring in your vehicle(s).

On the Vehicle Details Page for the vehicle you’re considering purchasing, you’ll find a box underneath the pictures called “Shipping Estimate.” Change the setting from US to International and enter your country and nearest port for the vehicle(s) to be delivered. You’ll then see price and time estimates from several reputable shipping companies. Then, just choose your shipping company.

The easiest way to get your vehicle(s) if you live outside of the US is to buy from a Copart Certified Reseller or Copart Lounge. They can assist you in the entire process from finding a vehicle, arranging shipping, importing it, and taking delivery. For more information, visit our International Shipping Page.
