What are the icons Copart uses? What do they look like? What do they say about a vehicle?
Copart uses icons to highlight important details about many of the vehicles listed for auction that appear in both search results and lot details pages.
Copart Select: These vehicles are the best quality Copart has to offer. They come with free condition reports, sale lights to guide you, and our arbitration policy to protect you in case what you see online isn’t what you receive.
Copart GO These vehicles were listed using the Copart GO! App and are located outside of a Copart facility. In the event you win a Copart GO! vehicle, it will be transported to the nearest Copart facility for you to pick up.
CrashedToys Vehicles listed as CrashedToys are those that are located at CrashedToys specific locations. CrashedToys specializes in the sale of salvaged motorcycles, boats, jet skis and other power sport crafts. These vehicles are accompanied with additional photos and lot notes. Where applicable, videos are also available for these vehicles. Fee structure differs for these vehicles.
Donated Vehicle The net proceeds from the sale of this vehicle will benefit a charity.
Engine Start Program At the time the vehicle arrived at Copart's location, Copart verified that the vehicle started and ran at idle.
Enhanced Vehicle The Seller has authorized Copart to perform certain services to the vehicle, such as washing the vehicle and/or applying plastic covering to the upholstery. Copart makes no guarantees any actual tasks were performed on the vehicle, only that the Seller has authorized Copart to do so.
Featured Vehicle These vehicles are likely to draw more bidders than usual and may have been promoted by Copart through social media or elsewhere.
Hybrid Vehicles Hybrid vehicles are typically regarded as greenor environmentally friendly. Fuel sources include Hybrid, Diesel, High MPG Gas, CNG, and Ethanol.
Offsite Vehicles- Offsite vehicles are stored somewhere other than a Copart site, such as vehicles listed through the Copart GO App. After being won at auction, the vehicle will be transported to a Copart location to be picked up by the new owner. In some cases, a listing will note a specific pick-up location that isn't a Copart facility
Run & Drive At the time the vehicle arrived at Copart's location, Copart verified that the vehicle (i) started, (ii) could be put into gear, and (iii) was capable of moving under its own power. There is no guarantee, representation, or warranty that the vehicle is in roadworthy condition or can be driven lawfully upon the highways of any state. There is no guarantee, representation, or warranty that the vehicle will (i) start, (ii) drive, or (iii) move forward under its own power at the time the vehicle is picked up at Copart's location. It is the Member's sole responsibility to ascertain, confirm, research, inspect, and/or investigate the vehicle prior to bidding on it. Once the vehicle is removed from Copart's premises, the Member accepts the vehicle "as is."
Sealed Bid Repossession Repossessed vehicles are sold at auction by the vehicle finance company to satisfy borrower/lessee's financial obligations.
Seller Certified Seller certifies that the member purchasing this unit will be completely satisfied with the purchase. If upon inspection and prior to leaving Copart's premises, the member is not satisfied, then the member may decline to complete the purchase transaction.
VIX Virtual Internet Exchange. These vehicles are repossessed or total loss vehicles that aren’t in the possession of Copart. They can only be inspected in online photos. After the sale is finalized, the successful bidder can pick up these vehicles at the specified Copart location the automobile was listed under. These vehicles can only be bid on with live bids. Max Bids are not allowed. The final price of these vehicles is subject to Seller approval.
Flood Reconditioned These vehicles were recovered from a storm event and has undergone special treatments to extract water and to attempt to prevent mold, fungus and odors.
