How to get the titles to vehicles you win on Copart is one of the most common questions our Member Services team receives.
You have several options, and most of them require you upload a valid Limited Power of Attorney that lets Copart put vehicle titles into you or your company’s name and have third parties bring those titles to you.
If you didn’t upload a PoA when you registered, go to the Account menu where you see your name in the upper right part of the Mobile App or Dashboard, and select Document Uploader.
Some states allow you to eSign the document with a few clicks. Other states require you to download and print the form, get it notarized and then upload a scan or image of it through the Document Uploader.
Our system will let you know the requirements for the state where you live.
If you plan to buy vehicles from multiple states, we recommend getting the PoA notarized so you don’t have to worry about it in the future.
