Learn More About A Vehicle
How can I learn more about a vehicle? What kind of reports can I get?
Before you place a bid, we encourage all our Members to learn as much as you can about any vehicles that catch your interest. We offer several ways to help you take a closer look.
Order an Inspection Report
You can order a Copart Vehicle Inspection Report which provides extra photos, at least two videos, and reviews the equipment and features on the vehicle. Other reports provide a vehicle’s history of owners, registrations and major accidents. We also offer several Third-Party Reports that allow you to learn a car’s history of accidents, ownership and its fair market value. You can also hire an inspector of your own to come and examine the vehicle. (Some Brokers provide this service for their clients).
Go In Person
You can come inspect any vehicle yourself Monday through Friday during normal business hours at the Copart location where it’s stored. You can find location’s address and business hours at Copart.com/Locations.
Free Condition Reports
Our Wholesale and GO vehicles come with different free condition reports.
Wholesale reports include any trouble codes generated by the car's internal sensors and an in-house, multi-point inspection. They also include window stickers that provide OEM details.
These reports document any interior or exterior damage with damage type, severity, and images. As an added value, you can get a complete history of the vehicle's ownership and accident record via AutoCheck. The AutoGrade® score is featured on the first vehicle photo.
Copart GO App vehicles come with GO Condition Reports, which are filled out by the seller and include important information such as whether a vehicle can drive at highway speed limits, whether the air conditioner blows cold, or whether a smoker previously drove it.
