Wire Transfers
How do I make a wire transfer? What is the recommended way to pay internationally? How do I cancel a wire payment
Transferring funds from your bank account to your Copart Member account is one of the best ways to make payments. We recommend this method for our international customers, and some US Members also prefer it.
On the Payments Due page, select the vehicles you want to pay for, and then choose Wire Transfer payment method at checkout. The system will walk you through the process and give you a code number.
Then give your bank the confirmation number generated by the Payments Due system, along with the account information, and ask them to transfer the funds. Remember, after completing the Wire Transfer process in the Payments Due center, you’ll still need to contact your bank to transfer the funds for payment.
Domestic wire transfers typically take 24 to 48 hours, while international transfers take 48 to 72 hours. If your funds still haven’t posted after that time, fill out the Buyer Wire Transfer Notification form and send it to Buyer.AR@Copart.com.
Be sure to include your confirmation number and your vehicle lot numbers so your payment is applied to the right vehicles.
Cancel a Wire Transfer
To cancel a wire transfer, you’ll need to contact your bank directly. Then you’ll need to contact Member.Services@copart.com so they can reverse your payment in our system. You will still need to find another form of payment to pay for your vehicles, services and fees.
