Can I buy a vehicle if I live outside of the U.S.?
Yes. The laws governing who can and cannot bid and buy vehicles at auction differ from state to state in the United States. The laws of the state where a vehicle is located usually governs who can bid and win it at auction. You can check the laws of a particular state on our State Licensing Overview Page.
If you don’t have the required credentials to bid, you can work through one of our Certified Resellers or Copart Lounges to buy any vehicle you’d like. They can help you through the entire process of finding vehicles, winning them at auction, shipping them to you and legally importing them to your country.
