Choosing a Membership
How do I join Copart? How do I get started? What kinds of Memberships does Copart offer? How do I sign up for a Membership? Can I sign up for a membership if I live outside U.S.?
To get started bidding & winning with Copart, sign up at our Registration Page to create a Guest account, choose the type of Membership that fits your needs, then fill out and confirm your payment details. We’ll email your login credentials (User Name & Password) to the address you used to register.
Membership Types
Copart offers a variety of Membership types to fit a variety of needs.
Guest Membership (FREE)
This free Membership lets someone watch vehicles and auctions after signing up for an account. They can also:
• Search Inventory
• Create Vehicle Alerts for Specific Vehicles
• Receive emails and other materials to learn how bidding, buying & winning works at Copart.
Basic Membership ($99)
This Membership is for someone who occasionally wants to buy cars, such as a rebuilder, hobbyist, or consumer.
• Bid on One Vehicle at a Time
• View Multiple Auctions
• Bid up to $2,000 with No Deposit
• Deposit 10% of Maximum Total Bids, Fully Refundable
Ex. If you want to bid a total of $10,000, also known as “Buying Power,” you would need to deposit $1,000.
Premier Membership ($249)
This Membership is for someone who regularly buys cars and/or buys in high volume. Premier Membership is chosen by most of our Members.
• Bid up to $100,000 a Day
• Make One Fully Refundable Deposit of $400.
• Bid on Multiple Vehicles in Multiple Auctions at the Same Time
• Get Priority Placement in Member Services Queue
Afterwards, we’ll walk you through the documents you’ll need to upload to comply with the various state laws about buying vehicles at auction.
If you find out the Membership you chose doesn’t meet your needs, you have several options to Upgrade, Downgrade & Cancel your Membership.
International Members
You can join Copart from almost anywhere in the world. Copart can even help you arrange shipping for your vehicles to foreign lands.
To better meet the needs of our Members outside of the US, Copart has local subsidiaries in Canada (Copart.ca); the United Kingdom (Copart.co.uk); the Republic of Ireland (Copart.ie); Brazil (Copart.com.br); Germany (Copart.de); Finland (Copart.fi); the United Arab Emirates, Oman and Bahrain (Copartmea.com); and Spain (Copart.es).
We also work with Copart Lounges and Copart Certified Resellers, in places like Africa, Eastern Europe, and Central & South America to help people register, find, bid, win and import vehicles.
