What are the icons Copart uses? What do they look like? What do they say about a vehicle?

Copart uses icons to highlight important details about many of the vehicles listed for auction that appear in both search results and lot details pages.

hilighticon-crashedtoysCopart GO Vehicles labeled “Copart GO” are listed by Sellers who post the vehicle and its condition using the Copart GO mobile app The Seller is a business owner or public individual posting their personal vehicle at their location. Each Seller completes a Yes/No GO Condition Report to provide details regarding the current exterior, interior, and mechanical condition of the vehicle.

The GO Condition Report does not represent the views or opinions of Copart, and Copart does not represent that it has inspected the vehicle or reviewed the GO Condition Report. Copart is not responsible for the contents of any GO Condition Report, including but not limited to its accuracy, validity, copyright compliance, legality, decency, or quality. Copart has no liability for any claims, damages, or other issues arising from or related to a Seller’s GO Condition Report.

Copart GO vehicles will be delivered within three (3) business days after payment for Member pickup or Member transporter.

CrashedToys specializes in the sale of damaged and used motorcycles, ATVs, watercraft, snowmobiles, exotics, classic cars, and other powersports vehicles. These vehicles often include additional photos and, where applicable, videos or 360-degree imaging. CrashedToys fees apply.

vehicle type=engine start bugEngine Start Program At the time the vehicle arrived at Copart’s facility, Copart verified that the vehicle (i) started and (ii) ran at idle. There is no guarantee, representation, or warranty that the vehicle will (i) start or (ii) run at idle at the time of sale or pickup. It is the Member’s sole responsibility to ascertain, confirm, research, inspect, and/or investigate the vehicle prior to bidding. Once the vehicle is removed from Copart’s premises, the Member accepts the vehicle “as is.”

vehicle type=enhanced vehicle bugEnhanced Vehicle Vehicles listed as “Enhanced Vehicles” are those where (i) the Seller has authorized Copart to perform an enhancement service, such as a wash, vacuum, or protective covering, or (ii) the vehicle is under a program that gives Copart discretion to utilize enhancement services to increase the vehicle’s value. This designation does not guarantee that any enhancement service was completed but indicates that qualifying vehicles may be enhanced. It is the Member’s responsibility to inspect and verify the utilization of enhancement services, if any.

vehicle type=featured vehicle bugFeatured Vehicle Featured Vehicles are highlighted by Copart as likely to generate high interest among our Members. Featured Vehicles are accessible from the homepage and Vehicle Finder.

vehicle type=hybrid bugHybrid Vehicles Hybrid vehicles are typically regarded as "green" or environmentally friendly. Fuel sources include Hybrid, Diesel, High MPG Gas, CNG, and Ethanol.

vehicle type=offsite vehicle bugOffsite Vehicles- Offsite Sale lots are not physically located at a Copart facility but are sold during the regular VB3 sale of the closest Copart facility. The “preview” and “pickup” locations are listed for each lot. Please review the preview dates and times to make arrangements to inspect any lot.

The Buyer is responsible for picking up the lot from the offsite location within the normal free storage period. All regular Copart fees apply to the sale of Offsite Sale lots.

vehicle type=run and drive bugRun & Drive According to the auction, at the time of inventory, the vehicle was designated as “Run & Drive,” meaning the vehicle:

  1. Started under its own power or with the use of an external jump box,
  2. Was put into gear, and
  3. Moved forward.

This designation is not a guarantee, representation, or warranty that the vehicle is roadworthy or will be able to start, be put into gear, or move forward at the time of sale or pickup.

vehicle type=seller certified bugSeller Certified Seller certifies that the member purchasing this unit will be completely satisfied with the purchase. If upon inspection and prior to leaving Copart's premises, the member is not satisfied, then the member may decline to complete the purchase transaction.

vehicle type=vix bugVIX Virtual Internet Exchange. These vehicles are repossessed or total loss vehicles that aren’t in the possession of Copart. They can only be inspected in online photos. After the sale is finalized, the successful bidder can pick up these vehicles at the specified Copart location the automobile was listed under. These vehicles can only be bid on with live bids. Max Bids are not allowed. The final price of these vehicles is subject to Seller approval.

vehicle type=flood reconditioned bugFlood Reconditioned This vehicle was recovered from a storm event and has undergone special treatments to extract water and help prevent mold, fungus, and odors.
